We are looking for an experienced craft bartender to join our team!

When we opened in 2012, Pizzeria Verità introduced one of the first craft bar programs in the state of Vermont, and ever since, our creative bar teams have led the way with innovative (and delicious) new cocktails. As a Pizzeria Verità bartender, you’ll continually educate yourself on the subject of spirits, craft cocktail trends and create new drinks to introduce to the cocktail universe. You’ll also quickly become knowledgeable about our menu, wine (especially Italian wine), Vermont craft beer and Italian amari, all of which will serve you well with our guests. And of course, you’ll be an important part of our front of house team, providing top notch hospitality and service, both to our guests and Pizzeria Verità’s server staff.

You’re friendly, positive, curious and helpful, with an attention to detail and a desire to help enhance our guests’ overall experience with Pizzeria Verità. As an experienced bartender, you can manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
  •  Work with Pizzeria Verità servers and hosts to fill drink orders and wait on guests at the bar
  •  Serve dinner and drinks to guests at the bar
  •  Continuously build your knowledge of beer, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic options and stay current on trends in the craft bar industry
  •  Collaborate with colleagues on the bar staff in the R&D of new cocktails
  •  Develop and workshop new craft cocktails for the restaurant
  •  Maintain clean and well organized bar, back bar and well
Qualifications:
  • Previous craft bartending experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work standing for 6+ hours
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Information (Completion is voluntary)

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Completion of the form is entirely voluntary. Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 4/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
